Hello! Welcome to the preK3 class of Explorers! My name is Kari Dopkins, I am so excited to be your child's teacher!
My teaching philosophy is that children learn best when they are in a safe, caring, and welcoming environment where they can explore and manipulate the learning. I believe children learn through play, and through play begin to understand their world.
I am the mother of four grown children and two daughters in law. I have been a wife for over 30 years to my awesome husband Jeff. I am currently a student at the University of Phoenix working on my Bachelors in Early Childhood Education. I was born and raised in Idaho, and have lived in NC, GA, FL, NY, and SC. I have recently begun calling Easley home. Some of my many hobbies include hiking, photography, reading, traveling, cooking, and spending time with my family. 
I am looking forward to an amazing year!
